Wind Ensemble Performance

Wind Ensemble performing at the Wilson Elementary Fun Fair this Saturday, November 17 from 9:30am - 10:30am. Support Wilson Elementary while you are there too!

Christmas Tree Sale


Christmas Tree Sale next week Saturday, November 24 from 8:30am - 1:00pm. Tickets are $60 for a 5 - 6 ft. sheared douglas fir.


STUDENTS & PARENTS:


Please don't forget that all money and unsold tickets are due back by Monday, November 19.
Monetary donations are welcome if you are not able to sell your tickets.

WE STILL NEED VOLUNTEERS !!!
Parent volunteers will be needed to assist with the following:
    • Supervision of students
    • Tree cutting
    • Traffic control
    • Cashiering.

There will be 2 shifts:
    • Shift 1 - 7:30 am - 11:00 am
    • Shift 2 - 10:30 am - 2:00 pm

If you are able to assist with either shift please contact Val Odani at dst.7@hotmail.com as soon as possible.

Students volunteers will also be needed that day.  A student volunteer list will be posted in the bandroom.  Students, please sign up.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
We will need at least 2 chainsaws to cut the bottoms of the trees for our customers that day.  If anyone has a chainsaw that can be used that day, please respond to this e-mail as soon as possible.  Also, if anyone has access to a generator that they are willing to let us use that day, please let us know as soon as possible.

REFRESHMENT DONATIONS NEEDED
Lunch will be provided by the band boosters for all of our hard working volunteers that day.  To add to the food provided by the boosters, donations of snacks and breakfast items would be greatly appreciated.  Please respond to this e-mail as soon as possible if you are able to donate any food items for our hard working volunteers.

The Kalani Falcons Band Boosters is proud to present the Concert + Cuisine Series, a unique pop-up dining experience that unites the musical arts with culinary arts. OnFriday, October 19, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm to-go dinners prepared by Chef Christopher Okuhara and Chef Christopher Gee of MISO & ALE will be available for purchase, for $30*, and pick-up at the Kalani High School Cafeteria. Each to-go dinner includes:

Pep Band Game Correction

This week's pep band game will be at Kaiser High, NOT AT WAIALUA. The busses will leave at 4:30pm.

New members, make sure you pay for your pep band shirts before this week Saturday. Shirts will be distributed on Saturday before we leave. Please arrive early at the band room to get your shirts.

Band Parent Meeting

Band Parent meeting on Tuesday, August 14 at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. Band information and fundraising details will be shared. Chicken sale tickets will be distributed as well.

2012 Marching Band Season

The 2012 marching band season is just around the corner. We start on Sunday, July 8 with the new rookie marchers at 1:00pm. Then our band camp begins next week from Monday through Friday, July 9 - 13 from 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Make sure to bring lots of water, sunscreen, shoes and appropriate clothing for the rehearsal out on the field. A PDF of the rehearsal schedule is below.
